Hello everybody. Here's the latest update!

As you all have already known, there will be no more chalet :( We'll be having BBQ, but if anyone wants to suggest activities before or after (like movies, roller-blading etc.), please do not hesitate to tell us!

BBQ @ Pasir Ris Park
Area 2, Pit 30 (2-30)
5.30pm, 4th July 2009, Saturday
Food IC : Claire (97353060) (contact her if you wish to help)
Meet at Pasir Ris MRT @ 2.30pm for cycling/roller-blading etc.

Hello all.

Unfortunately, we won't be having a chalet because all the chalets are fully booked. Costa Sands @ Downtown East, Aranda Country Club and Chalets @ Chevron : ALL FULL.

We are currently looking for BBQ pits at either Pasir Ris Park or ECP. Will most probably be on the 4th July, Saturday night. More details will be up soon. If anyone has any idea/want to lend us your house for activities/has any good place, please drop a tag/email us.

Thanks a lot!

Hello all 4incredibles! Some of you/us suggested having a 4i chalet before uni starts for us, and before those going overseas to study start flying off! In order to allow for more to come, it will be on the weekends, from saturday to sunday, so that the army boys can book out and in again on time!

At the bottom is the link to the survey, so that we can gather more information about your preferences for the chalet. However, before you guys do it, please check out the following websites for more information about the different choices of chalet venues.

1. Aranda Country Club (http://www.arandaclub.org.sg/index/index.aspx)
Enough said. Huge space and extremely comfortable. However, it is costly, and it will be hard to get a room. We can still try though.

2. Costa Sands @ Downtown East / Pasir Ris (http://www.costasands.com.sg/web/exploreAndPlan/index.aspx#)
Still relatively comfortable and affordable. We have been there before so I don't think I need so say much.

3. Chalets @ The Chevron (http://www.chevrons.org.sg/Main.aspx?PID=2&ZID=19&SID=26)
This is a new option! It is located at Jurong, which I know is very far for most of the east-siders. However, advantage is that the army guys are members and are therefore able to help us get a room at a cheaper rate. It is two-storey, and apparently there is a swimming pool? Please visit the website for more information! According to a reliable source (aka Junli), the chalet is quite anal about the activities we can do, like no pirated VCDs, cannot be too noisy etc. But then again, all chalets have similar rules and they still don't care eventually.

Please complete the survey asap! I look forward to hearing favourable replies from all of you!

Cheers,
Xue Ling.

Random thoughts reminded me of this blog. Hmm, does anyone still watch this space? Anyhow, there's this little kick from posting on a dormant blog -- thinking that it is near dead and yet there's still the possibility of having someone reading it.

Just a shout-out to everyone: Stay in touch, treasure life (:

The days in the 3I 4I classrooms bring back fond memories.

Mei Hui

Hi all

New updates!

Ignore the food stuff in previous posts, to everyone:

Please go straight to the chalet (room number: 1721) anytime from 2:30pm onwards! BBQ would be expected to start at around 5 or 5:30. See you there!

Mei Hui

Hey. I've received the message from Costa Sands Resort.

Room No.: 1721

Check-in time is 2.30pm. We'll be meeting earlier, probably at 1pm, at the E!Hub place to buy food. Time will be confirmed again.

See you guys there!

Hey (:

Seems like the 4i blog & tagboard have been pretty busy these few days! Glad to see people volunteering themselves for various services. It certainly helps to have appreciative and helpful people around, which makes the job of organizing less tedious and much more enjoyable. You guys are the reason that keeps us going! *wipes tears*

And yes, refer to the previous post by Mei Hui. If you want to bring any DVD player/DVDs/mahjong set (and maybe even the whole table too LOL), feel free to do so. More details will be updated here from time to time. You guys can contact us/drop a tag if you want to offer to help in any area! (Alternatively, you can remain as an observer and continue to observe silently and keep your mouth shut. That's what an observer does, isn't it?)

That said, I reckon it's time I say something about the whole tagboard saga.

竟敢来我们的地盘撒野?

We could have deleted your tags if we want to. But a little amusement doesn't hurt (: If you're feeling really bored, try visiting Bored.com to burn your boredom. The games there are quite boring, but I guess they'll do. Or, try picking up some Photoshop skills at PhotoshopSupport.com. Photoshop is awesome.

Happy holidays!

XUE LING (That's my name. Eat it.)

Hi everyone again,

It appears that the festive holiday mood is not to be easily deterred, in spite of certain misunderstandings (:

As Claire has tagged, she has kindly volunteered to be Food I/C! Once again, our very own motherly Claire, famous for her renowned chicken wings, will be responsible for filling our stomachs on the 16th :D Thank you Claire! Anyone who wants to help out in kitchen duties (marinating, chopping, skewing etc.), please feel free to contact either Claire, Xueling or me! May be putting up more details here soon.

Last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERLINDA!! :D

Mei Hui

My dear observer,

I am highly amused that you appear to be more "worked up" than me. Your argument sounds incoherent and delirious to me. Are you well? If you need some reminding, your 1st tag was posted in response to the survey entry—you did have a target. Although you did not name him/her, I don’t see how different that is from actually naming the person. The damage was still done.

To you, it may seem like a “trivial, nebulous” issue, and that, to me, just goes to show how very selfish you are. I’m sure you never thought about how the person involved would feel with your spiteful words. Do consider the feelings of others, and imagine if it had been you. Feelings are not a trivial thing.

(By the way, you yourself acknowledged that this whole affair is “nebulous”, which essentially means lacking in definite content. Do think thrice next time before creating a scene out of such insignificant issues.)

While there is some truth in that some of us may have sounded a little harsh in our tag responses, I hope you’ll understand that we did it out of concern and protectiveness for our friend. (As much as we could just ignore your tag and let it pass, we felt compelled to defend our friend’s position, particularly so when our friend was kindly doing the job of organizing the event.) I’m sure your friends would do the same for you had you been in such situations.

There, I’ve said my piece. Once again, I urge you to be more understanding, and hope that the angst in you would not hinder you from having a merry Christmas ahead (:

P.S: It’s not very wise to end off an argument with “FAT THINGS”, isn’t it?

Mei Hui

4I CHALET <3

Based on responses, more people were in favour of BBQ over dining at Ehub. So we decided on having a BBQ, you guys are alright with that right? (: Any objections feel free to raise it up.

16 December, Tuesday. 2D1N
Costa Sands @ Downtown East
$15 for Chalet & Food (Extra money will be split and returned)
Call Xue Ling or Mei Hui for any details/questions

Thank you! Please voice out any opinions or suggestions too!

4i group photo, at the end of D'Prom. already on facebook, but since someone requested and its a good idea, here it is.

Seriously, guys, if you all want a chalet, but refuse to co-operate and respond to the survey, I cannot go about booking a chalet that can fit everyone's schedule and choice. I cannot afford to message every single one via handphone, so if I request for you to do the survey online, please don't pretend not to see it. If you choose not to go, just go and write your name and say you are not going due to xxx whatever reason you have, or leave a tag on the blog. Let's just make things simple for everyone. You don't sit and wait for someone to plan a chalet that miraculously happen to take place at a time and venue of your choice. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello all 4incredibles! I think A Levels have ended for most of you guys, so YAY and rest well!

Some of you have been asking about class chalet, so here's a survey for you guys to voice your opinion! Don't worry, it's a very simple survey, all MCQ, so please do it ASAP. If not the rooms are gonna get booked soon and, uh, we'll have no more chalet.

Anyway the places that we are looking into will be, of course, Aranda Country Club, and Costa Sands @ Downtown East or Pasir Ris (2 different resorts!). Move your mouse to the names, I've linked them to their websites so you guys can read more about it and make a more informed choice! Remember, democracy is nothing if the people are not wise enough to vote.

Currently, Aranda is a bit out of our league because it's very expensive because it is SUPER PEAK now. And also because it is very high class LOL. From what I've checked, Costa Sands still looks pretty empty with lots of rooms available, so we'll probably be going there. I'm not sure which Costa Sands is where, because I remember the old Costa Sands was called Costa Sands @ Downtown East. So now that they've built the new Downtown East entertainment hub, I don't know which is which anyway. If any of you know which is which, TAG AT THE TAGBOARD.

And please, pass the message around to fellow 4incredibles to come and vote! Any extra comment, please do it at the tagboard.

P.S. : I've changed the template, without asking you guys. I'm sorry! I was thinking the old one had only a small box for the entries which made reading rather difficult. If everybody thinks this template sucks, comment at the board. I'll change it back. Sorry and thanks!

Hello guys! How are you all coping with Prelims? Good luck for any remaining papers, unless you're one of those lucky ones who've ended already! However, this is not the end, this is just the beginning! The big picture is A levels, so continue mugging your asses off. Of course, don't forget to enjoy yourself from time to time. Work hard and play hard(er)! :D

Last but not least, let me end with a famous Mr Jeremy Lim's quote:

"When the going gets tough, the tough gets going."

Hang on 4incredibles! (:

Everyone JIAYOU JIAYOU for As and Prelims! and then we can (hopefully) have a 4I gathering after that!

Till then!

If you are reading this, you should be mugggggging away.

Hello all 4incredibles!

Due to popular demand, we are gonna have ANOTHER 4i chalet this year! LOL. Thanks to Diane's mother, Auntie Anne, we are able to get the highly sought-after Aranda Country Club, so if you see Diane online, show her some love, YO! xD

Details for the Chalet:
2nd & 3rd November, 2007
Aranda Country Club
BBQ Dinner on the first night
$9 for Chalet, $12 for Chalet & Dinner

If you see me (Xue Ling) in school or anywhere, please pay me the money ASAP, if not I'll run after you for the money. Because Junli has very kindly paid first, and if we don't pay him back the $200+ bucks ASAP, I'm afraid he'll have to slog his hearts out at McDonald's! LOL okay JUST JOKING. Lokie please don't be angry! Haha.

Okay that's it see you guys at the chalet! =)

HEY LOVELIES!

This is Meihui, Yunshan, Berlinda and Valerie speaking.

Incrediles (error intended) love each other and help each other out right!

Now help us do surveys!

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

WE LOVE YOU.

Lovelies still in China, you are missed!

Thanks man, increbles rock. (error intended again)

why is it that whenever you pass down a message that involves the three words "reply when received", more than half of the people you text choose to ignore those three sacred words?

My guess is that only a couple of people EVER come here anymore. Maan. ):

Anyway, jj's requesting that i post up the addresses of the class peepos who currently have xangas, for use in china. Here you go:

www.xanga.com/cindywank
www.xanga.com/xuezi
www.xanga.com/txinying

I think claire's got one too but i havent got her address yet. Claire if you see this, post yours up too. :D

An alternative to getting a xanga is to email blog, but i srsly have no idea how it works. So, get a xanga today. :)

-XINYING.

4I! this blog needs a little life. uptdate whenever you can leh!
even if it's a post talking about what you ate for breakfast, or lunch, or dinner.
